EUGENE, Ore. — The sunny skies of San Diego beckoned the Oregon women's basketball team as the Ducks headed out on the road Sunday evening, and the team's mood matched that forecast after a 97-33 win earlier in the day over College of Charleston in Matthew Knight Arena.

No. 16 Oregon (9-1) shot nearly 60 percent as a team and held the Cougars to 20 percent shooting, as the Ducks won for the sixth time this season by 37 or more points. The Ducks used a 17-0 run to take a 26-5 lead in the first quarter, and they held the Cougars to three points in the second quarter.
