The Dallas Cowboys have a new running back, and he looks an awful lot like their old running back.
Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported the Cowboys and Ezekiel Elliott reached a contract Monday, pending the veteran running back passing a physical.
No terms of the deal were made available. The Cowboys entered the day with just $6.3 million in cap space, so odds are Elliott's new deal in Dallas is a one-year contract that does not carry much in the way of guarantees.
